Even more apocalyptic than Tape 1 Tape 2 continues my experimentation with a processed Bass guitar.
This one is completely live, single take so all artifacts and glitches remain.
It began simply enough with a loop performed on 5 string bass - pitched and slowed down. Then running through gobs of delays and reverbs and distortion effects. Everything on top of that was performed live through pedals, and plugins. The whole session was recorded to 4 track cassette and brought into Pro Tools for a simple mastering pass.
