I knew I wanted to do an ambient treatment for Apotheosis.
I thought I had it covered with the second half of the Delirium Mix, but that wasn't really made FROM the original recording, so it wasn't a re-mix.
This dark ambient version is made entirely from the original recording.
ALL sale proceeds from APOTHEOSIS : DEVIATIONS will be donated to Music In Schools Today - a San Francisco Bay Area charity helping fund music education in schools. Good cause.

I admire the way Jeff Schmidt uses fretless bass in his music, and found this project's vibe very interesting.
I also like the fact that by adding more instruments in this project, it doesn't get monotonous.
I enjoy this kind of music when I want to listen to different landscapes and sounds without having to pay too much attention to busy bass lines, etc, and it is always a great inspiration in terms of expressiveness on bass. Pablo Cavallo

I made love with my girlfriend so many times on this album. It is incredible. The songs are so beautiful and the rythm so well coordinated for this kind of moment... Anyway, always good to listen to it in the bus too Faugus
